So, I am sick and just plain miserable. Along with that, I'm missing four days of work due to the fever!!! That really sux!

Then to add to frustration, Matthew calls today with some less than settling news. The lovely company he has been waiting to hear from for a job, has decided that because he is too hydrated and drinks entirely too much water, that MUST mean he is trying to flush the drugs from his system. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! I of course working in the lab will be doing my own inquiries into this subject once I return to work. I have never heard of such a thing, and I monitor drug tests several times a week for the DOT, in our outpatient lab. Because his urine is "diluted" he therefore is not hireable. I suppose they would rather hire someone who doesn't take care of themselves and drink water. What a crock. Needless to say he is totally defeated over this news. I do not know what to say to him to make him feel better, other than I am here. And no silly test or company defines who you are. You are meant for something better is all this means.

I'm trying to figure out how in the world this wonderful little baby that I gave birth do just yesterday (hush it's my fantasy) became this child that defies everything I say. I know that teens are a pain, hell I was a nightmare, but my child is supposed to be perfect and sweet and his mother remain the center of his universe. Why is this not going the way I planned.

Ok, Ok, I know I'm being unreasonable, but I am having a hard time dealing with my little boy growing up and not wanting to be my little boy. I love that he is independant, but I just can't seem to connect and get through. Everything is an argument!!!! The more I punish the more pissed off he gets. I don't know if I can take years of this!

Good evening all. Hope this posting finds you well and in good spirits. I am attempting for the third time in the week since I started livejournal to post something of worth. Sprint has decided that my phone and broadband card really shouldn't work anymore at my house. So, I have rearranged furniture in my bedroom, so that the desk is now in the corner of the house close to a window. For now, seems to be working. That of course is as long as a bird does not land on the roof and disrupt signal. (this is the part where I remind myself that I really love living in the country!).

This week I am studying to take the boards to be a licensed Phlebotomists. This does nothing for my current job at Allegiance Hospital, but does open the doors for some contract work. I am completely stressed about it ,and ready to get it over with. I will post wether I pass or not Saturday evening.

Sunday Matthew and I went to see Get Smart, despite my lack of interest for past movies Steve Correll <sp?> has been in, I thought it was really funny, and wasn't too bad of a plot. It has been a while since a scene from a movie made me literally hurt from laughing. I won't spoil the movie for you, but it involves an Airplane Lavatory and mini cross-bow. So, if anyone is planning to see it have fun, and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

Silly me did not realize that in order to have friends I need to post something. Thanks for the tip talyxsmom!!

So here you have it my post that will open the doors for all who desire to befriend me.
